within one of these cloud banks

JOHN RODZVILLA

Within one of these cloud banks twilight prevailed, though outside the
sun was shining brightly, yet the meteor was distinctly seen. In many
places the light was so vivid that some compared it to the sun. Foolish
men! It had an appendage or train several degrees in length, which did
not spread out behind like the tail of a comet, but narrowed to a point
where the groove will barely miss the shoulder. Otherwise derangement
of sight will ensue and the approximate curve of the meteor will be
sufficiently variable to cause trouble. There is no necessity of defining
where animal sensation begins. Everything is a circle in reasoning, though
distinctions and relations may be marked, and none more distinctly than
the dual principle. There is no knowledge of universe.
